MBA in Canada and Singapore: Fees for Indian Students

Key takeaways

  • Rotman estimates CAD 144,770 for international students and CAD 92,540 for domestic students.
  • Schulich estimates CAD 124,019 for international students and Ivey lists CAD 92,310 for its Accelerated MBA.
  • NUS lists S$98,027 for August 2027 and Nanyang S$92,955 on its fee schedule.
  • Canadian work permit rules changed in 2024, so check IRCC for your programme.

Canada and Singapore are the two destinations people most often compare when they want a strong MBA without the fees of the top US schools. The numbers below are international student fees from the schools.

Canada

SchoolProgrammePublished fee
RotmanFull time MBA, international studentsCAD 144,770 (estimated academic fees)
RotmanOne year MBA, international studentsCAD 108,570
SchulichMBA, international studentsCAD 124,019 estimated total (CAD 31,005 per term)
IveyAccelerated MBA, November 2026 intakeCAD 92,310 including tuition, books and course materials

Domestic students pay far less, for example CAD 92,540 at Rotman, so always find the international figure. Eligible graduates can apply for a post graduation work permit, but the rules, including field of study requirements for some programmes, changed in 2024. Read the IRCC page for your programme before you apply.

Singapore

SchoolProgrammePublished fee
NUS Business SchoolNUS MBA, August 2027 intakeS$98,027
Nanyang Business SchoolNanyang MBA, 12 monthsS$92,955 on the fee schedule; S$85,280 on the admissions page

Nanyang shows two figures on different pages, so ask the school which applies to your intake. NUS says its scholarship can cover full tuition fees and some expenses. INSEAD also has a Singapore campus; see the Europe guide.

Tests and English

Both countries' schools accept the GMAT or GRE and ask for an English test when your degree was not taught in English. Read GMAT or GRE.

Full tables are on the Canada page and the Singapore page.

What to check before you shortlist

  • Read the international fee, not the domestic fee quoted in headlines.
  • Check whether the figure covers books and course materials. Ivey says its fee includes them.
  • Find out how many terms the programme has, because Schulich quotes a fee per term.
  • Compare the programme length, since a twelve month MBA saves a year of living costs.
  • Read the employment report for the industry you want and for international graduates specifically.

Funding and loans

Canadian and Singapore fees are in local currencies, so exchange rates matter. Add living costs and read our funding plan guide before you commit. Scholarships are covered in this guide, and NUS says its scholarship can cover full tuition fees and some expenses.

English tests

If your degree was taught in English you may not need a test, but read each school's rule. Practise on our IELTS Reading tests and Writing tests when you do.

Fees change every year and each school sets its own. The figures here come from the schools' own pages and were checked in October 2026, so confirm them on the school site before you decide. This guide is for planning and is not an offer from any school.
